江戸時代、肝入は現在の村長役、検断は警察のような役職で、本来は別々の仕事ですが、愛子村では双方の役を慶長年間(１５９６年ころ)から小松家初代「小松信濃」が務め、その後１３代にわたり務めていたことが「宮城町誌」の記録に残されています。

Accoriding to the History of Miyagi, the two officers in Ayashi country was beginning their job from Keicho year (1596) in Shinano Tounai, and their offspring served continuously for 13 generations afterwards.
